Werris Creek's pool recieved a much-need half-a-million dollar upgrade after Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson committed to making it a priority at the 2015 election.

The work was the first at the pool since the 1960s and funding was used to upgrade the filtration system as well as provide additional amenities to make the pool more welcoming to local families.

This upgrade was followed by a $224,355 grant from the Stronger Country Communities Fund for further improvements.
