TEYS BACKS GUNNEDAH FAMILY SUPPORT

Gunnedah’s AgQuip Field Day was the platform to raise money for Gunnedah Family Support Inc.

Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said TEYS Australia had donated steaks to the NSW Nationals AgQuip fundraiser with proceeds donated to help Gunnedah Family support to provide much-needed services in our community

“When our local community back each other, good things happen and the NSW Nationals AgQuip BBQ raised $2793,” Mr Anderson said.

“Richard Ingram and his team at TEYS Australia always make sure they play a big part in the local community by sponsoring local sporting clubs or donating their meat to support fundraisers held by a range of community groups.

“That includes donating the steaks for the AgQuip barbecue that raised funds for Gunnedah Family Support Inc. who provide homelessness, domestic violence and early intervention social support in Gunnedah.”

Gunnedah Family Support Manager Vanessa Hodges-Schembri said the funds will go towards supporting vulnerable families living in Gunnedah.

“Gunnedah Family Support were delighted to be asked back to the Nationals stall at Ag Quip this year,” said Ms Hodges Schembri.

“This donation will be used to help families that are doing it tough in our community. Every little bit helps as families are really struggling.”

Mr Anderson said the fundraiser would not be possible without the generous support of TEYS Australia.

“I’m always looking at ways to support the community, and playing a small part in the NSW Nationals AgQuip fundraiser is an excellent way to raise awareness and funds for Gunnedah Family Support,” Mr Anderson added.

“Thank you to TEYS for their ongoing support of our fundraiser, their support to Gunnedah Family Support, and their ongoing support of our community.”
