Barraba now has access to a safe and secure supply of fresh running water thanks to a significant investment to pipe water from Split Rock Dam to the town.

The NSW Government contributed $4.6 million to the $15 million project that has been supplying Barraba for years.

Prior to the pipeline’s completion, the Barraba community had only had access to poor quality potable bore water to supply the town, heavily stifling any opportunity for business and economic progress.
