GRANTS TO BUILD A STRONGER COMMUNITY
Multicultural organisation that run projects, and activities that build a stronger, more harmonious community are encouraged to apply for funding under the Multicultural NSW Stronger Together Grants Program.
Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said our region is home to more than 100 ethnicities and cultures who all add to the rich diversity of the community.
“Events like Fiesta La Peel in Tamworth and Harmony Day in Gunnedah are outstanding community-based events that reflect the diversity in our communities,” Mr Anderson said.
“They’re outstanding events for the whole community to enjoy, and the highlight of the social calendar for locals.
"These events are indicative of the wide support and harmony within our multicultural community.
"This grant opportunity seeks to build on that harmony by funding projects that will have a positive benefit to our community."
The Multicultural NSW Stronger Together Grants Program aims to support multicultural projects across NSW. The program invests in community projects and activities that foster community harmony and celebrate cultural diversity as a precious part of our identity and way of life.
Application for Stronger Together Project Grants 2025 are now open and close on 20 September 2024.
“I’m encouraging community organisations to apply for this outstanding funding program,” Mr Anderson added.
