There have been a number of versions of Manilla Road in my time as Member for Tamworth. 10 years ago, the road was outright dangerous and with freight and traffic steadily increasing over the years, it was important that these works be done to improve safety targets and community wellbeing.

More than $20 million has been committed to the road from the State Government over the years, providing safer journeys to those who use the road regularly.
