$20 MILLION FUND TO BRING WORLD-CLASS EVENTS TO TAMWORTH
Organisers in our region may now apply for a share of $20 million in funding to help make their shows bigger and better as part of the Regional Events Acceleration fund. Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said this was fantastic news after the loss of the Tamworth Country Music Festival this year.

FUNDING ANNOUNCED TO UPGRADE TIMBER BRIDGES
More timber bridges in the Tamworth Regional Council area will be replaced after funding from the NSW Government was granted for the development of 5 new bridges. Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson met with Mayor Col Murray to announce the funding at Fishers Bridge.
NEXT STEP IN TAMWORTH GLOBAL GATEWAY PARK UNDERWAY
The next phase of Tamworth Global Gateway Park is underway with drainage for the project being dug. Member for Tamworth met with Mayor Col Murray as well as project engineers Callum Fletcher and Lachlan Mackiewicz to inspect the earthworks.

It’s good news for those sending their kids of to Kindergarten or Years 1,2, or 7. Parents of those years can see their kids off on school grounds in a COVID-safe manner.
NSW GOVERNMENT STEPS IN TO PROVIDE WATER TO DURI RESIDENTS
Residents of Duri village will now have water security until at least July 2021 thanks to funding provided by the NSW Government. This comes after a year-long struggle by the residents of Duri in which a contaminated aquifer was deemed unsafe for use.
NEW SIGNAGE TO BOOST MUSEUM PATRONAGE
The Werris Creek Rail Journeys Museum will now welcome a boost in patronage after new signage was installed. Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson supported the museums application for government funding to help bolster tourism across the region.
