Progress on Manilla’s $17 million water supply upgrade is welcome. The NSW Government has contributed over $3.7 million towards the work, which will provide the Manilla community with a more reliable supply of treated water and deliver improvements in water quality. The project is due for completion by mid 2021.

Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson has welcomed the start of work on a new crossing of the Namoi River at Manilla.

“This is a major project with considerable benefits for Manilla and district residents as well as those passing through this important centre”, Mr Anderson said.
